FNQ Volunteer Champion Joins CSQ Board of Directors

From volunteer to visionary: FNQ community leader Norma Moloney joins the CSQ Board to champion change statewide.

We’re proud to welcome Norma Moloney to the Crime Stoppers Queensland Board of Directors, joining us in March 2025 after 5 years of dedicated service as a volunteer in our Far North Queensland Volunteer Area Committee.

Norma brings with her over 20 years of experience as a successful business owner in the real estate industry, supported by a strong background in banking, leadership, and people management. Renowned for her approachable and practical nature, Norma is a natural problem solver and relationship builder who thrives in community-driven work.

Her dedication to making a difference has not gone unnoticed—Norma was named Citizen of the Year in 2022 by Mareeba Shire Council for her outstanding contribution to the local community. Her passion for service was especially evident in the aftermath of Cyclone Jasper in December 2023, when she led the Crime Stoppers FNQ Volunteer Area Committee in a remarkable recovery effort working alongside The Hub.

Norma’s commitment to community safety and her long-standing involvement with Crime Stoppers make her an invaluable addition to our Board. We’re excited for the insight and passion she brings to her new role and look forward to the impact she’ll help us achieve across Queensland.
