Crime Stoppers Queensland Limited had been enaged by the Queensland Government as the official community participation solution in the fight to disestablish criminal organisations in Queensland.
Enhanced cash rewards of up to $50,000 were available for anonymous information provided through Crime Stoppers Queensland that assisted to arrest participants of a criminal organisation. These enhanced rewards were being funded by the Queensland Government.
These enhanced cash rewards are no longer available post 01 July 2015. The Queensland Government has removed funding support for this campaign. Information provided to Crime Stoppers prior to 30 June 2015 will still be eligible for an enhanced reward based on previously released information.
NOTE – cash rewards offered by the Crime Stoppers program through its standard day to day operations value between $50 and $1,000.
Enhanced cash rewards are offered from time to time only with the support of a third party or external organisation providing direct funding.
Crime Stoppers Queensland Limited, a registered charity and community volunteer organisation, is not able to offer enhanced rewards for its day to day crime intelligence gathering operations, as it is not funded to do so. Funding for our standard cash rewards program is raised by our valued and hardworking volunteers spread throughout the state, who have a keen interest in creating safer local communities.
